Laundry Pty Ltd trading as “LaundDry” (ABN 38 683 404 248) (“we”, “us” or “our”) runs the LaundDry laundromat at Marina Square, Wentworth Point, and this website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information, and how you can contact us about it.

We care about your privacy

  • We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
  • We will never publicly display your email address or other details that identify you.

What personal information we collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:

  • payment confirmations from our payment providers (we never see or store your full card number);
  • your membership details if you join as a member at the laundromat;

  • your email address if you sign up for news and offers; and
  • technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit on this website.

How we collect it

We collect personal information when you:

  • book a Wash Dry Fold service on this website;
  • pay for a wash at the laundromat or online;
  • sign up as a member or for news and offers;
  • contact us by email, phone or social media; or
  • browse this website (through cookies and similar technologies).

How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • process your Wash Dry Fold booking and let you know when your laundry is ready;
  • take payments and handle refunds;
  • answer your questions and help when something goes wrong;
  • run our membership and, if you asked for them, send you news and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • measure and improve this website and our advertising; and
  • keep our services and this website secure.

Payments

Online payments for Wash Dry Fold are processed securely by Square. Payments and memberships at the laundromat run through our cashless payment system, Bubblepay, and its card processors. These providers handle your card details under their own privacy policies. We only receive what we need to confirm your payment and complete your order.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information with service providers that help us run LaundDry, such as:

  • Square (online payments) and Bubblepay (payments and membership at the laundromat);
  • Google (website statistics, maps and fonts) and Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram (advertising measurement);
  • our website hosting and marketing partners, who help us run this website and measure our advertising.

We never share your locker number or PIN with advertising or marketing partners. Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies and statistics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your choices (for example, your Wash Dry Fold estimate), keep the booking form working and understand how visitors use the site. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure website traffic, and the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising. Maps on this website are provided by Google Maps.

When you make a booking, we may share your email address and the booking details (never your locker number or PIN) with Meta, through our marketing partner, so we can see which ads lead to bookings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage your ad preferences in your Google and Meta accounts. Some parts of the website may not work properly without cookies.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your personal information, please contact us first and we’ll work with you to sort it out. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
